Jeffrey Neil Kippel currently resides in the Muskoka region of Ontario, Canada together with his wife Mindy Blackstien, who goes by @heymindheart, and their cat Oracle Spirit Spirit, or “Aura” for short. Jeffrey started writing The Ridiculous Adventures of Serbinand in his teens and continued to work on it on the side every so often as a casual hobby. It was during the “lockdown of 2020” when Mindy dared him to take the #passionproject challenge issued by the #rethinkFIT initiative so that he could actually complete it. Soon thereafter, this book was officially born. Jeffrey wants to inspire you too to dive into a passion that makes you feel awesome! Over the course of his career Jeffrey & Mindy helped pioneer the natural bodybuilding & fitness model movements. They hosted hundreds of events globally, produced top rated television shows, published magazines and provided pathways and platforms for wellness enthusiasts around the world. In 1990, Jeffrey took the initiative to start Canada's first environmental magazine named Recover with tagline Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover. Today Jeffrey enjoys writing, nature, taking pictures, enjoying life and going with the flow. He is also the Strategic Connector for the RethinkFIT initiative, a venture he started with his wife, and co-hosts a weekly show highlighting innovators, inspirations and educators who want to make their voice heard to help anyone love better how they think, feel, act, look and dream. Book Two in this sci-fi comedy empowerment adventure, Godfried’s Turn, is already in the works and getting ready to be told.

My sincere, absolute gratitude and appreciation goes out to my wife, partner and best friend Mindy Heather Blackstien (@heymindheart). From your awesome editing skills and attention to detail to helping with the story and character development. Your storyboarding and strategy turned out to be a huge bonus even though at the time I may not have quite agreed right away... funny now when we look back at it, right? wink, wink, LOL. Mindy your insight, support and inspiration helped bring it all to life! Thank you for helping to keep this going and being my constant cheerleader. You mean everything to me! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
There are a few more people that I would like to thank for inspiring me to write this book. Firstly, Douglas Adams through the famous Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series; it was the hours and hours of laughing out loud reading and re-reading those books that prompted me to start writing. Secondly, my friends from my younger days, whose stories are embedded throughout the book based on some of the crazy adventures we had together! Next, to my mother-in-law, for writing her first book at the age of 69, under the pseudonym E.P. Snider, called Why Me? A Memoir and her new children’s book The Magical Adventures of Lori and Bonnie B. Bunny’. Both times she became motivation to get my “butt in gear”! To my friends and family who read the book in various stages over the years, offering suggestions and feedback that may have ended up in the pages throughout the story. Finally to my mom - Rosalie Dinkin-Spreacher - for buying the first copy and for always supporting the things I do.
Since laughter is one of the best “medicines” I chose to work with the World Organization of Natural Medicine and their not-for-profit mission: Clinics for Humanity. Proceeds from the book sales will go to their humanitarian efforts to spread health, wellness, fitness, empowerment, love and laughter to those in need around the world.
